Pub Business Exhibition 2008

EWL exhibited at the Pub Business Exhibition 2008 on 20th -21st May at the NEC, Birmingham.
This was our first exhibition in quite a few years and was designed solely to introduce our new online ordering facility, EWLOnline.

The exhibition was an overwhelming success with great interest being shown in the Online Facility Pub Business exhib 2008 .
Many visitors took part in the live demonstrations we held, and were impressed with our standard Next Day delivery service and extremely competitive prices. The ability to order at anytime of the day was very appealing, especially to the busy Landlord!

We would like to thank everyone who took the time to visit us and will be contacting everyone who left their details with us in the very near future.

Online Purchasing

We are proud to be leading the way in our industry having introduced an online buying facility to our website. We are pleased to say this is proving to be a successful tool for our customers as they can now purchase products at alternative times to normal office hours.

Our first online customer was Steve Chroscicki of The Chequers Inn and Front Street Brewery and we are pleased to report he has been back for more!

New appointments.

	We are pleased to introduce you to our newly appointed Sales Director - Gary Jones. Gary joined us at the end of 2007 and has over twenty years experience in the brewing industry. He will be responsible for all Sales related matters and is head of our Customer Service team. He has settled into his new role well and intends to contact as many customers as he can - so expect a call soon!

David is our newest recruit joining us at the end of 2007 as our IT Manager. He has thirteen years experience within IT as well as a background in print and design. David is responsible for all IT issues within the company and has the ongoing task of providing IT training to members of our team as well as developing the IT systems at EWL.

We would like to introduce you to John Hallas our Technical Manager. John has many years of experience within the beverage industry and is an invaluable member of our sales team - offering technical advice to both staff and customers, and is also responsible for all heath and safety.

EWL goes even greener!

Here at EWL we are very conscious of protecting our environment by doing our bit when it comes to packaging recycling and waste reduction. We have recently introduced green bins for waste paper in our offices and a bailing machine in our warehouse and factory.

We have also researched packaging requirements and have managed to find alternative packaging methods for gas regulators. The new boxes are not only smaller but in addition have reduced wall thickness as well as containing no polystyrene chips or plastic wrapping.

As a responsible company we are always seeking new and innovative ways to reduce our carbon footprint.
