Trevor Hicks
Managing Director
Trevor joined EWL in 1990 as Group Managing Director.
In 1994 he led the MBO of EWL from Hopkinsons Holdings plc and then in 2006 completed a secondary MBO to become the sole owner of EWL.
Gary Jones
Sales Director
Gary joined EWL at the end of 2007. He has over twenty years experience in the Brewing Industry and will continue to develop EWL sales.
Alastair Newstead
Commercial Director
Alastair joined EWL in 1993 initially in the accounts department progressing through purchasing and stores management. After managing major ESP accounts, he is now Commercial Director responsible for purchasing and all other commercial matters.
Joanne Snowden
Company Secretary
Joanne joined EWL in 1993 as Trainee Accountant. She is now Company Secretary and Accountant and responsible for all governance and financial matters.
Jane Woodhead
PA to the Managing Director
Jane joined EWL in 1992 as Sales Coordinator and was responsible for the company's major accounts. She manages all HR and marketing issues within her current role as PA.
John Hallas
Technical Manager
John joined EWL in 2000 after a long career in the soft drinks industry. With a wealth of product, health and safety, environmental and codes of practice knowledge, his contribution is invaluable.
David James
IT Manager
David joined EWL at the beginning of 2008. He has thirteen years experience working within an IT environment and is responsible for all systems and IT related issues.
Kirsten Edwards
Buyer
Kirsten joined EWL in 2006 as a Purchasing Assistant before being promoted to Buyer. In addition to purchasing projects and stock control she also manages supplier relationships.
Paul Feather
Operations Controller
Paul joined EWL in 2002 as Stores Supervisor. He had responsibility for both Stores and Distribution before moving on to become Operations Controller
Carolyn Feather
Customer Service Supervisor
Carolyn joined EWL in 2000 as Sales Coordinator. Having a wide spectrum of experience with both small and large customers, Carolyn now leads the Customer Service Team.
Rachel Newman
Customer Service Administrator
Rachel joined EWL in 2004 under the Modern Apprenticeship scheme. She won the training providers, "Trainee of the Year Award" in 2006. She is now a member of the Customer Service Team.
Joan Tetlow
Senior Accounts Assistant
Joan joined EWL's Customer Service Team in 2005. She is now the Senior Accounts Assistant responsible for all purchase ledger accounts and assists the company accountant.
Janet Hawkes
Credit Controller
Janet joined EWL in 1990 as Receptionist under the Youth Training Scheme. Her career development took her into Accounts where she is now the company's Credit Controller.
